Hi there, my name is…
Lauryn Hunter
Registered Provisional Psychologist • she/her
In my office, you will feel heard and accepted.
I am dedicated to creating a respectful, inclusive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe and empowered to face any challenges that may come up for them. My approach as a counsellor is genuine and relatable, using warmth, empathy, and a bit of humour to foster a collaborative healing environment. The foundation of my therapy practice is person-centered and I integrate elements from other evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. Personally and professionally, I am committed to always reflecting and growing to ensure my practice is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and actively decolonizing the therapy process.
We aren’t meant to go through life alone — let's face these challenges together.
Psychological services provided by Lauryn are supervised by Julie Curley, R.Psych #3616
I provide sessions for…
☑ Adults
☑ Youth (12+)
My words to live by are…
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we're supposed to be and embracing who we are.”
Brené Brown
When I’m not in my office, you can find me…
Escaping to the mountains, bumping some 90s R&B while I'm at the gym, listening to a good podcast or travelling the world with my husband. I also love taking in all of Edmonton’s amazing festivals, like Heritage Days, The Fringe Festival, and Folk Fest.
